Working in both languages Productions Guy L'Ecuyer inc. was created in 1983 with the express mission of providing clients with first class training, promotional and marketing videos at a competitive price. We have produced hundreds of corporate video productions of all scopes and sizes. Our client list includes Avon Canada, Imperial Tobacco, Bombardier, Banque Nationale, Iron Ore, Loto Québec, Bell Canada, to name a few. Requests for video projects come in different shapes and sizes. Often, as was the case with our Lumec video, a single English version is requested. The client here was launching an American marketing campaign and was very sensitive about the script's quality of English. So, for this project we hired a writer/director whose first language was English. When we are asked to produce a video in both French and English, as was the case with our Ivaco , Avon, or The Canadian Real Estate videos, one of the first determinations we like to make is who represents the largest intended audience. This decision will determine whether we hire a person whose first language is French or English to write and direct.
